Rise is the first chapter of the trilogy — a groove-led, soulful and deeply personal record shaped through change, travel, loss, rebuilding and transformation.

After the sudden end of a twelve-year relationship, Riki set off alone cycling through France and Spain, wild-camping, busking and slowly rebuilding from the inside out. Some of the songs on this album were conceived during that journey.

Not long after returning home, lockdowns began in England. During that strange and uncertain period, the trilogy albums were recorded independently in a makeshift bedroom studio using a U47-style microphone, Prism Sound interface, layered guitars, bass, programmed drums and a strong DIY spirit.

The result is an album blending classic rock, blues, funk, soul, acoustic warmth and singer-songwriter depth with a raw, authentic 70’s-inspired atmosphere.

This is independent music created outside the industry machine — made with heart, intention and real lived experience.

Raw, rocking and full of attitude — a song about judgement, misunderstanding and people never fully knowing what others are carrying.

A warm romantic summer track moving from indie-soul into a bossa nova-inspired atmosphere.

Island Of Light
An uplifting escape into warmth, freedom and paradise — inspired by the longing to break free from pressure and cold English winters.

If I Don’t Make It
A deep minor-key blues song exploring longing, loss and emotional honesty.

Spirit Of Man
An epic 15-minute rock-inspired finale with soaring guitars, Hammond organ and a powerful call toward freedom, truth and spirit.

A remixed anthem from an earlier chapter — fiery, emotional and rooted in reclaiming inner power and purpose.
