Having been bitten by the need to get out of England every winter we decided to go this time to Gran Canaria!

As the islands had such steep terrain the use of farming land was quite interesting

Interesting atmosphere

Just loved this, chickens out by the road.. spot on

Nothing more satisfying than seeing your love in the sea doing her thing

It made me happy Katy going swimming and seeing the smile on her face

I should have found out what this place was.

I will admit that it was very hard going up and down and all around the Island on foot like this, we were very very tired at times.

The following two photo’s are taken from another website to show just how amazing this spot was, lets just say it was very high up, the bus rides were freaky but the nature was beautiful.

Communal area

I thought this place would make a great eco-spiritual community

Here we stayed and cooked some food on a fire

A rare look into all our stuff and what we would carry around, we had it quite packed down and limited belongings on Gran Canaria, we also had some lovely fruits on the Island

Haha well we put the tent up on the bed in our Airbnb because of the Mosquito issues

Maybe that’s why I purchased this Caribbean album by Cortijo and His Time Machine

one of the most amazing albums from Puerto Rico! now I just need a record player to play it 😀
